SD worked on the design for Revere Apartments in the vibrant “live-work-play” Mississippi district of Portland that has seen rapid development. Our team completed the landscape design for community-oriented outdoor spaces including a fitness courtyard with a rock-climbing wall, community terrace, green roof, and streetscape. With a focus on sustainability, green roofs improve building insulation while giving residents the opportunity to enjoy views of the city amongst natural surroundings. Our expansive rooftop designs included pollinator-friendly plantings and hubs for community socialization such as ping pong tables, a fire table, a community grill, and built-in seating areas.
